Ginoogaming First Nation is one of the 34 communities that make up the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. Our community is home to approximately 430 residents who take pride in their ancestral roots and preserve the traditional way of life. The name “Ginoogaming” translates to “on the way to the land of the Nibwaakaawin” in the Ojibwe language, symbolizing our connection to the land and the wisdom it holds.
