Together, they form Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) Tribal Council, which was established to advocate for the rights and well-being of its member communities.
The community of Wasagamack encompasses a land area of approximately 1,800 square kilometers and is home to a population of approximately 2,000 people. The majority of its residents are members of the Anishinaabe Nation, also known as Oji-Cree, and are proud of their vibrant indigenous culture.
